Ford Announces Starting Price of 2015 Ford Mustang

With sales of the new Mustang expected to start later this fall, Ford has finally announced the starting price of the 2015 Ford Mustang. The new 2015 Mustang will come with a base starting price of $24,425, just shy of a $1,100 increase over last year’s model; the 2015 Mustang GT trim will come priced at $32,925. With this being the 50th anniversary of the Mustang, customers will see a 50 Year Limited Edition model also made available, costing $46,995. Dealerships around the country can now begin ordering the latest Mustang for their showrooms.

The 2015 Ford Mustang will come powered by a standard 3.7L V6 engine that produces 300 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. Also available as an option will be a 5.0L V8 engine that is expected to surpass the 420 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque that the current 2014 Mustang offers, but specs for the new V8 engine have yet to be officially released by Ford. Regardless of which engine you choose, both come available with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

Part of the reason buyers are seeing a slight increase in the price of the 2015 Mustang could be due to the impressive list of standard features Ford added to this new model. Standard features include Ford’s voice-activated SYNC connectivity system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an independent front and rear suspension, and a rearview camera.

The 50 Year Limited Edition Mustang will come available in either Wimbledon White or Kona Blue paint colors. Only 1,964 of these special edition models will be manufactured, so you can probably expect that not many will be sold for the starting price of $46,995. Features on the Limited Edition will include anniversary floor mats, unique stitching on both the seats and door trim, a 50 Year rear badge, and all-season tires. If you’re interested in securing a one-of-a-kind roadster that calls back to the good old days of muscle cars, this one is for you.

To learn more about the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang we encourage you to visit your local Ford dealership. You won’t want to miss out on celebrating 50 years of this iconic Ford muscle car.
